This was the second installment in the " New Cream Lemon " series , and Fairy Dust, who were enjoying a booming success with their " Cream Lemon " series in 1987 , used the fact that it was co-produced with AIC, who were also enjoying a booming success, as a selling point.
The character design and animation direction was handled by Urushihara Satoshi, who had been noticed by the producers of AIC for his work on the 1986 general OVA " Megazone 23 Part II: Please Tell Me a Secret ." This was Urushihara's debut work, but the film was rated R18 and the staff's names were kept secret, and AIC was listed as "AIC2" in the ending credits for convenience.
